How can piano playing improve you?

Published scientific research has shown that playing a musical instrument can offer a rewarding and positive outlook on life for all ages. Skills that you are able to nurture as a musician are transferable to everyday situations whether one is at the workplace or at home. Where do I fit in?

My objective is to bring music to the workplace, to ask employees to take a break from their everyday work activities in order to enjoy a skill with or without prior knowledge or perhaps to rekindle a childhood pastime. With my inspiration; encouragement; commitment and passion for music, I can act as a stimulant to help you make this happen.

How can I help?

I can help you learn and extend your piano playing skills through your choice of preferred pieces and/or by offering you a wide choice of styles from classical to jazz and easy listening, develop techniques to learn, improvise, improve technical ability and ensure that you achieve enjoyment and satisfaction in your progress.

What service can I provide?

  • High quality teaching on a one-to-one basis for thirty minutes from an experienced and professional teacher using a transportable high tech. stage piano;
  • Initial consultation to determine what steps are to be taken to best suit your personal needs;
  • Preparation for exams in classical and jazz using the ABRSM (Associated Board
    of the Royal School of Music) or LCM (London College of Music) syllabus for
    those who wish to take their music a stage further;
  • Composition and theory (optional).

What would you need to provide?

  • A quiet room in your workplace;
  • Preferred lesson times and days;
  • The option to whether you would like to organise this
    through the company or the employee.
